Sculpture

To ensure transportation safety, the flower and the base will be fixed together. This sculpture weaves the symbiotic form of a serpent and a rose into a cross-cultural allegory of love. The serpent's coiled body transforms into rose stems, its scales blooming as petals – embodying both the wisdom of ancient Greek totems and the auspicious "little dragon" symbolism of the East. The serpent’s cyclical molting mirrors love’s eternal renewal through time, while the rose’s thorns reveal passion’s duality of ecstasy and vulnerability. As the serpent gently grasps the blossoming flower, it captures love’s eternal tension: the forbidden allure of Eden’s fruit intertwined with the red threads of destiny in Eastern lore. Frozen in this charged moment, the work unveils love’s primal essence – an intertwining of danger and sanctity, ephemerality and eternity.
