Biography

(Cuenca, 1925) Artista español. A partir de la pintura figurativa de sus comienzos, evolucionó hacia el informalismo. En 1966 fundó con Zóbel el Museo de Arte Abstracto de Cuenca e inició su actividad en el campo de la escultura (Laberinto, 1973; El recuerdo de Parménides, 1976). Es importante también su labor como grabador y diseñador. Últimamente ha intervenido en la reestructuración de algunas salas del Museo del Prado. En 1990 mostró su trabajo en la Madrid, primero en la galería Soledad Lorenzo y después en el Centro Cultural de la Villa.
