Biography

Carmen Narbarte, Madrid 1957. Ilustradora y escritora. Formación en el Museo Thyssen Bornemisza, Peña-Artium, talleres de la Biblioteca Nacional e Ivory Press sobre libros de artista, el mono de la tinta en obra gráfica, etc. Su último libro "Dichosos caníbales" (Editorial Torremozas, 2019), va acompañado por 52 collages, técnica mixta, sobre diferentes gramajes de papel. Ha recibido el respeto y valoración de críticos como Lucas Albor, de Libros Prohibidos. Escribo con lápiz o con pincel desde el terreno del disparate, el absurdo, lo irreal conocido o la ambigüedad de lo onírico; todo aquello que precisa de texturas diferentes y explora minimundos, mapas o cruces de camino. Así las figuras quedan expuestas a un hábitat fantástico o surreal.
