En una fiesta muy popular en los pueblos de Valencia, Castellón y alguna otra provincia española, "Bous al carrer", consistente en soltar toros a la calle con barreras alrededor, en alguna plaza, donde se les lleva. Es una fiesta ancestral que, tal vez, tenga su origen en los primitivos íberos que habitaban la Península Ibérica. Fiesta muy cuestionada en la actualidad. Al descontextualizar la figura del toro se puede apreciar el propio valor del animal (bravura, plástica y belleza) y en el panel derecho del díptico las personas en cada una de sus actitudes (enfrentándose al peligro, arriesgando su vida, u observando desde la barrera). Pintura perteneciente a la serie La Línea Blanca que pretende reflejar la realidad actual. Firmada y fechada en ambos paneles. Cuidadoso embalaje. Realizada en octubre de 2021.

Biography

Nace en Socuéllamos (Ciudad Real) -Spain- 3-9-1956. Estudió BBAA en Valencia. Ha vivido además en Barcelona y Granada. Actualmente reside en Valencia. Es doctor en Bellas Artes. Ha realizado 40 exposiciones individuales en España y una en Portugal. Además ha realizado unas 200 colectivas en todo el mundo. Desde 2005 trabaja la llamada La Línea Blanca, a la que pertenecen las pinturas que se pueden ver en FLECHA. Pinturas de esta serie han sido expuestas, entre otros lugares, en Artefact Gallery (2014) y Lacey Gallery (2016) de Londres.
