Biography

Afincado en Almuñécar y a la vez que trabajo en un proyecto de paisajes marinos sobre aguas calmas - tal y como me gusta ver el mar-, vuelvo con una serie sobre la vida bajo el agua. Un grupo de ilustraciones sobre papel a base de acuarela y rotulador, junto con obras al óleo sobre tabla, donde a través de trazos opacos y dinámicos se respira esa sensación de libertad bajo el agua. Aún así trato de respetar formas y tonos de manera en la cual, desde cierta distancia, el estilo se torna escrupulosamente figurativo representando el modelo real tal y como es. Pero cuando nos acercamos, la obra se vuelve un galimatías sin referencia formal. Mi único interés es conseguir un trabajo limpio y vibrante, dejando que la pintura haga trabajar a la vista.
