Biography

Pepe González-Arenas es científico de profesión y un enamorado de la fotografía. A mediados de los años setenta del pasado siglo, realizaba fotografía analógica dedicada, como buen biólogo, a la naturaleza (fauna, botánica, paisajes...). Hace unos años dio el salto a la fotografía digital y con ella encontró la forma de expresar sus inquietudes: la street photography. Desde entonces ha realizado varias exposiciones individuales y otras colectivas, en Madrid, Córdoba, Sanlúcar de Barrameda y Núremberg. Y ha participado en talleres de grandes profesionales como Ouka Leele, Manuel Torres, Francisco Guerrero o Gervasio Sánchez. Es también coautor de dos fotolibros. Con sus fotografías trata de captar la vida cotidiana de la ciudad, visibilizando lo invisible. Más info: www.pepegonzalezarenas.com
