Biography

Creo que dibujo de manera egoísta en el sentido de que recibo mucha satisfacción de ello, terapéuticamente y humorísticamente. Paso una cantidad ridícula de tiempo moviendo objetos de un lado a otro en el dibujo, perfeccionando cada curva y escondiendo detalles meticulosamente, lo cual realmente no espero que nadie más note. Cuando no estoy haciendo pequeños dibujos que me hacen reir, considero mis otras ilustraciones un poco ‘Sherlockianas’, como una escena del crimen con pistas que tienes que ir averiguando como un detective, las cuales revelan una historia interna más allá de su aspecto estético inicial. Crecí viajando por el mundo, pasé mi infancia sumergido en el agua, y desde entonces la naturaleza, la biodiversidad y las formas orgánicas de la fauna y flora han sido un tema muy presente en lo que hago.
